Working with many different kinds of ThinkPads, I’ve felt that there are certain designs that (for some reason), how do I say… inspire confidence.
I’m not sure if it’s:
- the palmrest in terms of the material, size, or being rounded off the edges
- the keyboard layout, size, or feel, or the sound of the keystrokes
- the sensitivity of the TrackPoint
- the screen in terms of colors, brightness, or viewing angles
or is it something else?
There are two particular designs I’ve felt this the most on, and those are the W530, and the X230, which though are from the same generation, happen to be very different from each other.
